It's the end of the month, and you know what that means... I stalk my blog stats like a lunatic.
Though I've been blogging off and on since 2005, SLOmygosh is my blog baby; and just like Elliott, it turned one this month. In celebration of my most gratifying, and fun year of blogging yet- I have to take a moment to thank all of you who have read and supported this little project of mine. At the end of each month I obsessively study peek at the stats and without fail, the numbers get higher and higher every. single. day. It's all because of YOU. From right here in SLO, to Hawaii, Russia, and Australia- you've found SLOmygosh and me, and my family... and I feel that we've found you right back. The most gratifying and unexpected part of this sharing medium has been the realization that strangers are truly friends just we haven't met yet. I know that my readers are truly special and I've loved creating this connection with you. Every one of your comments, emails, and views have been so incredibly appreciated and have encouraged me to keep posting and keep sharing our little corner of the world. Yes, even when I'm having one of "those" days. You've stuck with me through it all... you've offered advice, you've stopped me in the street for a hug, and you've shared your enthusiasm for the blog by spreading the word.

ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind that I found and have been following your blog - it's such a lovely place with a wonderful charm. In fact, when I've had a particularly stressful day at work and just need to find a quick pick-me-up, I know that SLOmygosh will do the trick every time... right on par with watching my favorite video of my sweet 2 year old nephew dancing to Pumped Up Kicks in his boisterous manner. I have to tell you I'm so truly happy for you that you have such wonderful, sweet, loving family & friends in your life, and you continue to appreciate and create beauty in your world. I hope SLO appreciates what a brilliant service you're providing them. Keep up the great blog, and I'll be happy to promote you to friends in the area who may appreciate your charm, as well. Honestly, I often wonder who the people behind all of those statistics are, and whether or not any of this is resonating.
